We are seeking passionate candidates to join our Board of Directors for a 3-year appointment. Read on to see if a Board Member position is right for you and submit a nomination by January 17!
Any of our members are eligible to join the Board. Ideal candidates:

- Are actively involved in prescribed fire efforts in Wisconsin
- Are in the early or middle stages of their career
- Can dedicate ~5 hours each month to advancing the mission of the Fire Council. This includes working with one or more of our committees and attending a monthly Board meeting.
- Contribute to the demographic, regional, and/or ideological diversity of the Board
- Have fundraising experience and/or willingness to reach out to their connections for contributions

Nominated individuals must send their resume/CV and a cover letter describing their fire experience and what they will bring to the Board. All materials must be submitted by 11:59PM on Friday, January 17.
The Board is also seeking candidates for two open officer positions (Treasurer and Vice-Chair). Nominees must be confirmed to the Board to become eligible.
