About two weeks ago, WPFC attended and was a sponsor for the Northeast Midwest Regional Prescribed Fire Workshop! This workshop was for all wildland fire management partners across the 20 state NE-MW region to share region-wide, science-based, fire ecology information oriented toward expanding and maintaining the use of prescribed fire across all landscapes, jurisdictions, and fire-dependent ecosystems.
WPFC was a sponsor, exhibitor, and featured many board members on the illustrious panel sessions. We can’t thank all those that got this workshop off the ground enough. A great learning and networking experience and we can’t wait for next year.
