Please see below for an important update regarding the memorial service for Keith Symon, beloved member of Wisconsin’s prescribed fire community.
“Keith’s memorial is still planned for 9 August at Hilltop (6447 Hilltop Rd, Spring Green, WI 53588). We’ll start with a service where anyone is welcome to stand and share thoughts or stories at 3 PM. The service will go on rain or shine.
We’re roasting a pig in his memory, so following the service there will be food, desserts, and drinks and plenty of time to relax and reminisce.
We’ll have guides directing people where to park. It’s a short walk from the parking location to the service. We do have a small number of parking spots right next to the service for those who can’t make the walk, and we’ll have someone to shuttle people from the normal parking if those fill up.
Please forward this to any and all that I missed, there’s plenty of space and food for everyone.”
Stowe Symon
As a reminder, messages for Keith’s family can be sent to WPFC and we will forward them on to Russ and Rowie Roskie. Rowie is Keith’s sister.
