Wildland Fire Training
January 28 @ 8:00 am - February 1 @ 5:00 pm$152
The “red card” system is a national wildland qualifications system. This “red card” proves your level of wildland qualifications in every state of this country. There are three parts to the “red card” certification – classes such as S-130, S-190, L-180, task book (a checklist to the job) and physical testing.
You can NOT “get” a red card. Red cards are issued by a wildland firefighting agency. This class will get you into the hiring agency door. The task books and physical test will be conducted by the agency which will then issue the red card, certifying your qualifications to work on a wildfire.
