Intermediate Fire Behavior – NWCG S-290

This class is designed to prepare the prospective supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations. This course builds upon the basics in S-190, Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior but provides more detailed information about characteristics and interactions of the wildland fire environment (fuels, weather, and topography) that affect wildland fire behavior for safety purposes.

When: Tuesday-Friday, January 9-12, 2024, 8:00am-6:00pm; Class #31960.

Cost $185.60.

Prerequisites for this course are S130/S190/L180.
