We at the WPFC are ecstatic to announce our first ever prescribed fire training course for Wisconsin landowners, scheduled for September 28-29!
Most land in Wisconsin is under private ownership, meaning that prescribed fire has immense potential to help landowners improve and maintain their property. Likewise, landowners can be a tremendous force in getting more safe, effective fire on the ground in our state. This 2-day hands-on training is just the first of many prescribed fire resources that we plan to make available to this specific group, with whom we look forward to forming more partnerships in the future.
